The FR Roots blower is a versatile equipment utilized in various sectors such as power, chemical, mining, and metallurgy, primarily for conveying clean air and inert gases. Its core operational principle lies in achieving gas conveyance through volume changes, with flow rate being directly correlated to the blower’s volume and rotational speed.
The equipment adopts a double cycloid structure design, featuring simple structure, long maintenance cycle, and stable operation. Among the main components, the casing is made of high-strength gray cast iron HT200, which is resistant to high temperature and pressure; the rotor is made of ductile iron QT400 and undergoes dynamic balance correction to ensure friction-free operation. The transmission gears are processed with 5-level precision and hardened treatment, and are paired with high wear-resistant bearings to extend their service life. The equipment integrates a safety valve and a check valve, which are used for overpressure relief and prevention of gas backflow, respectively. The base adopts a steel frame to accommodate the motor drive. The elastic joint is made of rubber steel skeleton, which effectively reduces operational vibration, and the overall structure meets the requirements of high pressure and special gas transportation.

  2. Fan design and structure
    The main components of the SR series Roots blower have the following characteristics:
    2.1 Chassis
    The casing is made of high-strength gray cast iron HT200, which has sufficient strength to resist wear and deformation under high temperature and high pressure conditions.
    2.2 Rotor
    The rotor is made of high-strength ductile iron QT400, processed by advanced machining centers and CNC machines, and assembled through coaxial hot fitting. It has been calibrated by an advanced dynamic balancing machine, ensuring no contact or friction between the two rotors during operation and a long service life.
    2.3 Bearing
    The bearing features high precision and strong wear resistance.
    2.4 Transmission gear
    The gear adopts a manufacturing accuracy of Grade 5, and the tooth surface has undergone hardening treatment, ensuring a long service life.
    2.5 Base
    The blower units driven by electric motors are installed together on a steel frame base, providing information on the operational load for each group of blowers and the foundation anchor bolts required for the installation of each group of equipment
    2.6 Safety valve
    It is a safety device on the unit. When the system operates in an abnormal state and the resistance exceeds the rated working pressure of the fan, the safety valve automatically opens to vent the gas and relieve the load, preventing the fan and motor from being overloaded and providing automatic protection to the system.
    2.7 Check valve
    It is used to prevent the backflow of high-pressure gas in the system during fan shutdown, which could cause the rotor of the blower to rotate in reverse, leading to failures such as impeller collision.
    2.8 Elastic joint
    It is made of rubber and steel frame, and has good shock absorption effect.
